Henryk Lobaczewski’s new folio.

– posted by Sally

I met Henryk in August 2010. He flew down to Melbourne from Sydney for the day.

Henryk shoots fashion and beauty and we had a great day working through the many shots he brought for me to go through.

The result was fantastic with lots of bursts of colour and energy throughout the book.

Henryk is a strong, self-assured photographer with a depth and conviction that is impressive.

Here are three of my favourite spreads.

Pearl Harbour Anniversary.

– posted by Sally

Pearl Harbour 7th December, 1941.

These photos were taken by a sailor who was on the USS QUAPAW 68 years ago.

The film had been left in his camera, a Box Brownie, and stored in a foot locker for all these years.

The film has recently been developed and this is what was found.
