New Folio’s

– posted by Sally

Kicked off 2013 working on some beautiful folios from a wide variety of photographic disciplines.  It’s really exciting to be working in our new office and spreading out the photographers work.
What I love so much about working with photographers is reenergising folios and websites of photographers I have worked with in the past and then meeting new photographers whose work I have never seen before.
Each day my eyes are refreshed by such a variety of work and personalities. How lucky am I to be working with such a vast array of talent.
I love, love, love what I do!!!

"Sally was recommended to me by Melbourne fashion photographer Robert Earp as the go to professional for portfolio consultation and design. The fantastic day I spent with Sally was indeed an eye opener; she recognised strengths in my work which I hadn't seen for myself and as a result I hung on her every word and recommendation. Working with Sally has revealed a new excitement in me about my work and future prospects; this in itself is a priceless reward. I can't wait to work with Sally again this year and can't stress enough how valuable her input is both to a photographer's physical portfolio and also to our way of seeing ourselves through our work. While a photographer's portfolio is ever evolving, having access to Sally and her remarkable knowledge, experience and skills will only lead to amazing results!"

Here are some of Sally's favourite spreads from Jennifer Dean's new folio!

"I enlisted Sally's services with my folio at a time when I needed clarification of my photographic direction. Professionally, I felt as if I was being pulled in many different ways - commercial, portrait, documentary, landscape. I didn't know if I had to choose one direction and forgo the others or if I should try to spread myself thinly across the lot of them.

Sally helped clear this up for me. Since meeting with her and working on my folio, I have honed in on my passion and love for documentary photography and project work. The folio that Sally has helped me put together showcases the work I love most. While I can still show my other work to potential clients and agencies as PDFs or slideshows.

Sally showed me it was most important to be clear about what I want from my photography, so that clients and my audience can be clear about this too. Sally also suggested ways for me to market and promote myself, and showed me what my assets are.

All in all, an invaluable experience.

Thanks Sally."
