Christain Mushenko is awarded 3 nominations in the Annual Black and White Spider Awards

Christian has been awarded 3 nominations in the Annual Black and White Spider Awards. He has received 2 nominations in Advertising and 1 nomination in the Nature category.

Celebrating its 9th year, the esteemed Black and White Spider Awards is the leading international award honoring black and white photography.

An Award, that seems to just fit Christian like a glove, the Black and White Spider Awards look for photographers who are driven by their artistic eye and a desire to excel in this classic art form.

Colour & Harmony. An exploration of 19th century gum bichromate printing

Colour & Harmony by Carlo Chechi (Italy) follows a group of circus performers who teach acrobatics in Florence. Chechi examines the performers unusual lives during both training and day to day occurrences, revealing a surreal and intimate portrait of this family and their friends.

Earlier this year, Chechi exhibited at Onyx Gallery in Beijing. He has exhibited widely throughout Europe and recently participated in an alternative photographic process workshop at Gold St Studios in East Trentham, Victoria.

Winner of the 2014 Sally Brownbill Award…

Congratulations to graduating RMIT Diploma of Photo Imaging student Alex Reinders for winning the 2014 Sally Brownbill Award.

Alex is a photographer, videographer and visual artist based in Melbourne. Studying Visual Arts and Commercial Photography has placed Alex comfortably between arts and commercial photography.

Alex is already working in industry, currently shooting for Jack London, Gorman, Alannah Hill, Claude Maus and Dangerfield.

I am really looking forward to working with you on your folio Alex!
