PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIES COLLEGE presents Richard White

THE IMAGE MAKERS   SEMINAR SERIES 2015: 5

Richard White
Friday 26th June, 6pm - 7.30pm

Richard White has been described as someone who walks in the footsteps of Ansel Adams. His black and white images have a timeless and evocative quality about them. For the past 16 years Richard has produced a large- format black & white calendar on The High Country of Australia and more recently a high quality coffee table book on the same subject.

Richard has been a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography for the past 30 years and is also a Master of Photography. In 2010 he was awarded the AIPP’s highest honour, A Fellow of the Institute.

For the past 21 years Richard has run photographic workshop in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK. He's a regular speaker at photographic conventions and art photography forums and still produces many of his prints via the darkroom process.

Apart from the High Country book Richard is also the author of Places I've Been - A Journey Through Photography (2013). The book is a special limited edition release, which contains 50 black & white photographs from Richard's travels around the world and Australia. Insightful commentary is given on each of the images in the book.

We are pleased to invite PSC students, graduates and the general public to attend the 5th Image Makers Seminar Series 2015. This unique event will be held at PSC, Level 1, 65 City Road, Southbank.
This is a free public seminar event, however numbers are strictly limited. Bookings are required and can be made online at: http://www.eventbrite.com.au (search Image Makers Seminar Series).
